I've just upgraded to iOS 7, and updated TW to the latest version, and suddenly I have a half inch less screen. Considering the fact that I already had a puny little screen, this is extremely irritating. Worst of all, I received a message telling me that it'll always be turned on from now on!

Normally I wouldn't complain, but I'm sure I'm not the only iphone user to have this pet-peeve. Please listen to this message, Nick, and please consider making it possible to switch it off.

I find the red 'New' over tournaments irksome.Like a shoe shop in my town. One week it's "All must go",another it's "last days of sale", other weeks it's "Clearance sale!","Moving premises sale","Retiring from business sale",etc for the last 5 years.I finally went in last month to buy tomatoes.

Nicely spotted dearest Turfa.Poor sod took to selling grub,possibly from his own garden,alongside the footwear.His mother,(well into her eighties),would sit on her perch and would tell you that everything suited you.Once I strained myself to reach for a box and she said,"O,o, ¡qué bonitos! ¡Qué bien te quedan esos zapatos! - "O,o, how nice they are! How well they suit you!"
Thing is that the box was as yet unopened.I had merely reached in their direction.Also,I might add,she was knitting.It was like some kind of mantra.(Suppose it beats a "Buy it now you sonofabitch").All it took was to rattle a box and she'd start.I am sure if one were to do pirouette she'd pipe up with the words of chant.
One Saturday evening,as I deliberated over a pair of slippers,I asked the son if the stop would be open the next day."Sunday!?",was the shocked response,followed by a quick "What time?".

If you go to the bottom of your profile you should be able to turn it off.

For me its only a problem when I'm making comments, and even then only sometimes. I find it worth it.

Me too. Here's a tip, just tap the top of the screen and it takes you back to the top, no need to scroll.

Me too. Here's a tip, just tap the top of the screen and it takes you back to the top, no need to scroll.

I have discovered something here: I am able to turn the header back off! I must have switched it on and forgotten, and assumed that it came with the updated version. It's gone now and this thread is therefore null and void. I'd delete it but I enjoyed Vish's story so much I think I'll keep it. lol.
