Did you read the thread? Did you read that the original poster is a survivor? She asked us to do 1 small thing. Turn our turf Pink for the month of October. It is not just about finding a cure but also raising awareness. Two of aunts lost their lives to Cancer, my dad and my landlady are Cancer survivors. What I donate to breast cancer and cancer research is my business but I will tell you I donate not only financially but with my time.

As a guy who has lost numerous family members to cancer, (and survived it myself) I'm all about giving both financially and with my time raising awareness.

Wolfe.. Just an FYI.. Since my diagnosis I have been bringing awareness and supporting financially for a cure and very active in the community. Early detection is key in catching breast cancer early until there is a cure found and I am trying to bring awareness in the TW community by the pink turf. I don't think you read my post correctly

Sorry to have offended anyone, and I know that there are survivors in the forum, and I didn't mean to downplay that achievement.

I just got carried away a bit there. I don't know anyone with that cancer, but I did have a good friend die from a different form of cancer, so ferlings are a bit rough there.

Again, I apologize if I offended anyone.

My daughter's step mom has breast cancer. It spread to her spine and lymph nodes after her 5 years being "clean".
I support many causes, sadly, any others that share the month of October with breast cancer get overlooked.
Please remember, it is also dyslexia awareness month. 1 in 4 people have some variation of dyslexia. Two of my three children are dyslexic.
In no way am I disrespecting any cause or telling anyone who/what to support. Just reminding everyone that there are lots of causes out there and we can choose to support more than one! =]
