If you have been here longer than a year and have 3K or less mob
Forums › General Discussion › If you have been here longer than a year and have 3K or less mob-
Are you enjoying this game?
In my pursuit of codes for icm I see a lot players who just don't seem to understand the importance of mob. I tell noobs that they don't stand a chance in turf wars if they're not willing to sign up on icm and punch codes but could I be wrong?
So I'm asking: Is it possible to get enjoyment out of this game without punching any codes?
-
I'm not who you want to hear from but I'm will flow this post
Because I'm wondering the same thing. Agree with you more mob is way more fun to get to 4000 is not that hard -
Typo- follow not flow haha
-
I really think it depends on your situation, if your in the middle of nowhere, don't fancy a massive hop and your neighbours are all 500 mob, what's the point in mobbing up above that?

Icm?

I was at 21k mob about a year and half ago, after i reset...i just havn't found the urge like before to punch!
-
And the answer the question better, I don't find much enjoyment in this game anymore for that reason.
-
I'm having more fun at 12k than I was at 3k for sure. Low mob count really limited my play. But with that said, the ICM returns on the older codes is so weak that I've lost motivation to continue to punch. (Less than 10% in my latest 2500 punch effort after more than a week) for reference, I'm a non spending casual player though, most of the time.
-
I'm a perfect example XD I've been here since July 7 2011, and I had an account from 2010 that I reset. I've barely punched on either account. I can't vouch for others but I've gotten tons of enjoyment out of the game, for some reason playing as the low mobbed weakling has brought lots of fun. I definitely understand the importance of codes and have punched only a few hindered temps, for me it's just too tedious and time consuming where I'm perfectly content playing without a huge mob.
-
I feel it's possible. I really only punch when I see it fit. Like if I plan to expand to an area and I need to mob up to be competitive there I will. Aside from that I don't plan on punching another code once I hit 10k unless I really have to. Being small is pretty fun. You're of low interest to larger players unless you paint a target on yourself, and also feuds between two people in the same city are always fun haha.

It takes all sizes to make this game fun, I enjoy myself and I'm very small lol... It just means you need to be more diplomatic or make big friends...

No...
You might get 500 mob from your temp code but without punching it would be just a weird FarmVille .... -

Sort of but I went inactive for like 6 months

Been here since beginning! I had over 3k, before I was reset, but I don't now! Does that count?
-
I've been playing since Dec. 2009. I've reset multiple times, but this is the largest my mob has ever been. I've got 15.2k mob. I enjoy playing with a low mob. I haven't punched codes in over 6 months. In the past I've only punched codes when someone was kicking my butt. I want to punch codes, but I just don't have the patience for it.

👋
I have been here over 3 years now... Still haven't punched a code.Did the right thing and got a nice custom code from nearly day 1. Have aways had a steady feed of invites and got a mass of them in 'the noob invasion'.
I have a smallish mob count -just over 13k. In the few fights I have been in, it is quite handy if in Vs as the range is great... But I think 20-25k is where the most fun is at - You can pwn people like me..Yet I can't fight back without a V. Then if im in a v, the range on them isn't THAT great. They can till range 'the big boys' from 2 miles away lol.
Just my 2 pennies worth :-P
I would say with a nice invite code, you don't need to unch, but you do. My invites have declined over the past 12 months something horrendous... So I'll always be a 13-14k mobster :-P

I've been here over 3years...hardly ever punched and I'm under 9k. I enjoy it this way as I have no interest in punching codes as to me it's just so tedious I'd much rather be with my kids or at the gym.

Great feedback. Thanks everyone. I guess it really just depends on your style of play. I'm actually happy to hear that I was wrong and it seems it is possible (for sone) to enjoy turf wars without punching codes.

The only thing we don't agree on is setting a possible limit - if I'm 10k in another year, I'll still punch codes every month or two like I do now.
That is, if I still play. Lol. I'm seriously considering deleting every game from my phone ... TW & CofC included.
Bejewelled puts me to sleep most nights though ... 😜💎👍

Been playing this game for 3 years. Lost all interest after my account was strangely reset (Dunno if anyone still plays that was around for that fiasco) right after I had started to punch codes.
-
Mickey. I enjoyed this game fighting and stuff with alliances back in the day. Well I never really fought I was just in palringo rooms and stuff. I have up on punching because I had a goal of hopping to do. And I continue to just hop. Ya I get capped but that's half the fun in hopping. Seeing how far someone will go to cap you. I tell people all the time. Play the game how you want to play. Hop somewhere punch codes or just troll. And il say it. That's why I like the new game from the developers. I'm rewarded for hopping.

Same for me as far as the punching thing. I'll plan on punching but always end up doing something else. Can't bring myself to do it anymore. I find plenty of enjoyment from the game though. I think turf limit has a bigger impact than mob count. I am small, but I had a blast when I had extra turf to fight with. Now, I am roughly 200 over limit and I feel like there is nothing to do.
