I know the majority of people trying to play gta online are experiencing a bug where you can't do the first online mission. I looked up how to get past it and found a video and it says to restart your console and go to story then create a new character online. I'm going to test this now so it's unconfirmed but it's better than not trying anything. I'll update after I get a chance to try it.

By that you mean get past the mission or connect? I can connect fine. Still setting up a new character to see if I can get past the bug

Ok i am confirming that it works. I just did it and worked first try. So instructions to bypass the bug are:
1. Restart console
2. Start up story mode
3. Delete online character
4. Make a new online character
5. Play online

I have my personal crew set up but if anyone wants help maing a tw crew let me know. I'll get that emblem done right.

Apparently the cloud isn't working so I have to use a temporary character. Screw it, I was only checking it out, I don't think it's a good game at all.
