Nick, lets clear this up for everyone. I have screen shots of examples of 7 attacks per second, by one player, to cap a turf, not including the turf capture notification. And ss of support stating to other players, the server limits the attacks to cap, to 3, no matter how many devices the player uses. So lets talk about this and sort it out so everyone knows what is acceptable and what is not. How many attacks per second to cap is legit? How many devices is one player allowed to use, at the same time,to cap turf? I noticed its common to see 3-5 attacks per second to capture turf and wonder if any other players have experienced any # of hits greater than or equal to 7 attacks per second from one player during a turf capture?

The TW support message i am referring to states: "There is a server-side attack rate limiter that limits attacks to roughly 3 per second, regardless of the number of devices a player has. Hope this clears things up!"

I've seen the hit count go up pretty fast, but I've always attributed it to server/network burps. I got 52 notifications at once from midnite, but i KNOW his fingers cant be THAT fast...

The main question is, are you personally allowed to use 2 devices for the same account to capture turf or not?

I think if the answer is yes, then that would bump up your attack speeds if the attack-limiter is broken.

Question.. Is it one person with 3 devices all logged into 1 account, or 2 or more people on different devices?

I've been the recipient of more then 3 per sec and I've attacked more then 3 per second. At least that's my perception.

All the attacks come from only one player, no way to tell if they are using 1, 2 or 3 devices from my side. Thats why i am asking these questions.

I guess some might use two devices at once but it seems a good way to get reset. Kinda stupid. How could a few turfs be worth that? Mostly its just slow notifications I think. Of course there are a few assholes out there who might try it. Seems silly to me but then again I don't sleep with my phone.

ive been hit fast before but i had it happen recently in the how many hits thread. cant see someone using multiple devices just to er me for fun. not to say no one would do it but i think sometimes it has to be slow notifications like zoom said.

Ive been attacked by Saba thousands of times and never once did he ever come close to 7 hits per second.

I was told by support that u were allowed to use 2 devices with one account but that u couldn't be on both at the same time... Don't know if that has changed or not

If there is ANY lag in Apple's end (which we are all too aware of unfortunately) then it leads to you receiving that many notifications in what appears to be the same second. there is no i would risk putting my account on 2 devices. i know people do it, but with the risk of reset hanging over head it's not worth it to me. i can attack fast enough from one device. unless i'm fightingn someone bigger and then it's a problem of having to pause for refills. if anything needs to be fixed it my health limit. maybe set it to 1000 or something like that. lol.
