I had two thoughts, but didn't want to make two forum threads, so here we go.

Dear Nick,

I implore you to have a baby daughter, so that when she grows up and gets married, I can ask you for my 4k hench. You know, that whole "cannot refuse a request on his daughter's wedding day thing"? You may or may not be Sicilian, but you are the Don... To be honest, I'm not even sure if this is right, as I have never watched a Godfather movie.

In any case, my fellow turf warriors, while we anxiously await for Nick's response, watch me play some (and get very pissed at) Super Meat Boy. As always, your feedback is much appreciated. I know it has been a long time, but I am getting back into the swing of things.

Well Tweek what a coincidence. My little girls, I'm talking elementary likes games and she loves to watch other play on YouTube and she was watching that guy the other day saying profanity at every 3 words so I had to go get her off the computer. I can't beleive the coincidence that it was you! Well can't confirm 100% but it was the same voice and expression! Anyway I know you probably won't change a thing but just know that some little kids likes to watch little kids game on YouTube. Thank you.

Well, if it was me, I would be very surprised. That being said, I do understand your complaint. However, much like everything in life is not child friendly, not everything on YouTube is meant for children. I can assure you that my profanity is not even close to the worst on YouTube, in vulgarity, morality, or offensiveness. In fact, there are videos on YouTube without any vulgar language that I would say kids shouldn't watch.

In any case, you raise a very valid point. YouTube has a very relaxed view on content moderation. Like you, I have kids who watch YouTube. I do not stand over their shoulder and watch them watching YouTube, but I do check what they are watching often. If they are watching something profane, such as what your child stumbled upon, then I too turn off that video. Parents should not assume that YouTube is child friendly, and what they are watching should be monitored. There are no V-chips on the internet.

Finally, mav, if I was by some chance the one that your child was watching, then I apologize.

It's not problem Tweek I know your video is meet to a mature audience and I do see what my little one does on the computer.Every parent should be aware of what is out there and do the minimum diligences to monitor them.

Also, it should be noted that YouTube does not allow users to upload a video with an age restriction on it, or else I would put one on my videos. Instead, they rely on the community to flag videos, and the flags are in turn reviewed by YouTube staff. If the YouTube staff deems the video as inappropriate, then they will either age restrict it or remove it.

I hope that sharing this information can help anyone who needs it.

I use fraps. I record myself with my headset, which is a Turtle Beach PX 21. Not the greatest, but I'm a cheap-ass and the mic works fine.
For a beginner like myself, fraps is great. Now, if I were better at editing, I would record audio and video with separate programs, but I'm not that great. It took about 5 hours using a premade template for me to make that few second opening sequence.

There's a reason that I don't do Amnesia videos, and that reason is that I am a puss.
There is an older game name Condemned: Criminal Origins, and one of the levels in that game you are in an abandoned mall filled with mannequins. Throughout the level, mannequins will just up and start walking around, and there is one scene in particular where they surround you and there is not shit you can do about it. You go down a hole, and look up, and there they all are looking down at you.

I had nightmares after that part, and quit playing the game.

Lol. The morbid part of me would watch another scary video you play. Since I'm not playing it I can handle it lmao. Scariest game I've played was called The Suffering. Jesus it scared the piss out of me. My heart can't handle that shit lol.
