I cancelled my ATT service today and about an hour ago my phone shows "No Service" on upper left where the ATT usually show, my question is do i need to pay my bill for this month? And how come they cancel it right away is'nt it suppose the be every end of each billing cycle.? Your help will be appreciated, thank you.

You cancelled it. Soo there is no need for them to keep your service going unless they were going to charge for the rest of the month which 9/10 you paid for already. Time for another carrier now bro.

This is the issue hope it helps. When you make a contract they charge initial fee mostly a big fee lol. This is to ensure when u cancel they get their money. With your issue is say you pay your bill the tenth of every month so September 10 is you bill the bill you pay is for the next month to be used sept 10-october10 since you cancelled they just stop all services and bill you as a last bill for any days you went over September 10th example 8 days over might be 1/4 your normal bill.

Telecom are such pricks. I was informed that Comcast now bills at the beginning of the service month. AT&T keeps getting worse, but yeah, if you wanted service till the end of the month, you have to cancel at the end of the month.
