Washington Navy Yard shooting

Any one hear about it. I had like 27 missed calls wheb i woke up because my dad and brother are working their . Appearantly there was a mass shooting again. My bro was locked out of the base on his way back to from breakfast. My dad was stuck in the base while all this happened .My dad and his crew ran to the basement and tried waiting it out he's finally home now. I feel bad for those who got killed.

I was watching it happen on the news. They suspected multiple gunmen because they found different types of rounds in victims, but they also said it could have only been one shooter with different types of weapons. Last I heard one shooter was confirmed dead.
Hopefully ur family is safe and more aren't fatally injured.

Yeah my dad just got home. My brother was trying to keep my mom in the dark until he knew that my dad was ok. A nearby highway was shut down to airlift those more seriously injured. The suspects were described as a white and black male in their 50's dressed in military garb. It sucks that many families will get bad news today. Getting into that base is impossible with out certain security clearances. So who ever it was , worked there. Hope they catch them.I was watching it happen on the news. This is why I hate people, most attacking a base is the worst thing you can do. If we can do this so easily and enemies see it happening then what do you think will happen next. It's people like this that make it fighting for our right to bear arms hard

Well the shooter was in the military so that's why he got in. But a shooting at a military base is SOOO much better than a school shooting. Don't get me wrong this is horrible but at least no children died. Crazy peopleThis is why I hate people, most attacking a base is the worst thing you can do. This is so sad and scary. My fiancé works on the navy yard and his building is right across the street from where the shooting started. Thankfully we were on vacation this weekend and are only on our way home now. A military base should be one of the safest places to go but this base is so different then any other base. Please keep the victims families in your prayers and hope there is no more gunfire today.

I don't mean to sound rude but your information is incorrect. Getting into certain buildings requires security clearance but any civilian can get onto that base. It has museums on it and more civilians work there than military personnel. I'm glad you're family is ok but I had to correct you on that.Ƿøcḵє†ƦƦ™ wrote:

It's worse. It shows how unstable this country actually is. -

Really you think it's worse that someone went postal on the organization that "wronged" him than a bunch of 6 years old getting plastered all over the walls? Hmmm...ℋ₳աҡ(ⅇ552) wrote:

Mental illness is a serious issue in the US. I hope as more information becomes available a real solution can be found on how to help people with mental illness in this country so to prevent horrific acts like this in the future.

Before someone brings it up, no talk of gun control on this forum please. It's unrelated.

What is wrong with you people?!? Are you seriously arguing over which is worse??? Death is tragic no matter what age the person is. No matter what a family lost a loved one.P😈Loco(E771) wrote:
