Horrible news to read. I know I'm late to the post, but RL called and I haven't been keeping up on forums. Way too young. Shows you that life is too short. Hugs your kids, kiss your wife/husband. Tell everyone that you love them and don't take life for granted.

Brenda, With the holidays fast approaching, you'll notice the feeling of emptiness even more than before. The way I handled this when I lost my brother, was to set a place for him at the dinner table but instead of a plate put a picture. I know he is always with me, and that he is always watching over. I make sure to include that picture when we have family gatherings. keeping it in the room where people are eating and drinking and socializing keeping his spirit with us and the love that we have for him alive and strong as it ever was.

It is up to us to share these happy memories with one another.
I remember the first time I sent a PM to DVC hands trembling, haha not sure how many times I edited my note... Waiting unsure if my turfies will start to disappear or if I'll end up in ER... The waiting in silence, palms sweaty, throat dry, keep tap'n the refresh on the news tab... Anxiety starting in... Then my phone vibrates, scared me I exclaim ah as if I seen a mouse in the house☺️
Oh my goodness I worked myself up for nothing!
Kind words, answers to my questions, and encouragement from a big guy that in my mind is a giant teddy bear as we later chat about bringing his ohana to hawaii...
DVC and I shall grab that cup off coffee later, I have no doubt.
Thanks to his family for letting us share our thanks and memories of a great man.

The first time I met DVC I had watched his hop trail towards my hometown I assumed he was coming to start trouble ( which I found out later he wanted to) with my local capo who had given me a little guidance up to that point, who knew that DVC and I would get to know each other as well as we did! In the long run Spe©Tre retired before DVC could take his capo so I ended up with it, and then during war I gave it to DVC who still holds it today! He is THE KING OF CALI!

All your kind words during the holiday time is special thank you all for sharing memories of my love. He was a big teddy bear mean muggin on the outside but one of the most kind hearted, sensitive man I will ever know. He taught me how to love and be loved. When he was passionate about something like this game he went all in... Forever he will be in our hearts :(
