Turf Wars minecraft map?

Well my brother showed me this video of a well known YouTuber playing a map called "turf fort" on minecraft, saying "look, turf wars!" And it got me thinking. Why don't some of us who have minecraft get together and attempt to make a turf wars map in minecraft? I would need a bit of help learning the new features since I haven't played minecraft in a couple months but its a cool game, building stuff and all that. If anyone would like to participate who has Minecraft, PM me for details. Anyone else is welcome to criticize and compliment this idea.

Forgot to say, this is PC minecraft, not Xbox version. Unfortunately that probably lost me most minecraft players here :(. I was thinking a rectangular arena could be constructed with grey or black wool for the floor. Using another program or plugins, each team could be able to change the floor to red or blue wool, for each respectable team (red and blue). The goal would be to take all of the enemy "turf" away so that they have none.

Still need a bit more elaboration? It would be a flat rectangular arena with a team of players starting at each end. I was thinking the walls could be designed with colored wools and clays to show a cityscape, maybe specific to a city with commonly known landmarks.

Nice idea dova, however, the mc TW map would only have one color:

Maverick has to many turfs to place other turfs on that map 😄

There could be small lava filled holes that if you fell in and died It would represent being capped out of the area.

But if you build it on the floor it'll be harder to tell what it is

I've built most of the map, including a spawn area with rules and such. Now the finishing touch to the map is to add a pixel art urban skyline around the edges to make it a city setting. Then, using a server plugin called Skript, I can write a simple code script to tell the game to change wool blocks to red/blue wool when right clicking with the desired dye, "planting turf". I'll put the script text in a "README.txt" file as well as instruction for downloading Skript on a server so you can play it too. The README.txt will go in a folder also containing the world folder. This new folder can be set up as a download via downloader websites like bit.ly. And that should be it 😀👍
