If you guys want I can get lists of parts to build different budget computers. Remember ill do as much research as I can't to get you the best parts for the best price. Also it would help if you tell me the biggest game you might ever play. Cause it's a lot easier to run minecraft than planet side 2. So giving me that may help me help you save a few tens.

Can you get an external graphics card for a laptop so I can plug it in instead of rebuilding. I've seen externals but not sure if they work and what one is good

I don't really need a 100% perfect numeration of parts right now, but I'll tell you what I've got and what I'm looking for. Currently I run an i7 core with 12 GB RAM, combined with two GeForce 650's in SLI both over clocked. I have two WD black drives, one 1 TB the other 3 TB. Within the next year likely I'll be getting a super rig, hooking it up to either a 2560 monitor or a 4k, with the possibility of adding 2 more monitors. I would need the power to handle my extreme video rendering that I do professionally, but I would need to be able to play anything on ultra settings at 100 fps min. Key games are Crysis 3, CoH, Battlefield 3/4 (later), and some other assorted titles. I assume something in the range of dual 790's would handle the load, and while I know this isn't cheap I figure it's do able for under 5500-6500 dollars...

Dear everyone right now I am posting from one of my mules. For about five days now my iPod has been lost which had shadowed one on it. I will hopefully get an iPhone soon anyway but I will be away for awhile. Unless I find my iPod which also may actually been stolen but its been locked remotely so do not worry about my account being abused. See you wonderful guys in a while.
