No but honestly the rules are the rules. I feel like if the U.S. decides to step in then there's going to be very little retaliation especially from Russia. Not only do they not want the fight but neither does anyone else. You never want two world powers to clash especially not now a days. I don't think it would escalate as big as some people make it out to.Has anyone heard anything new of the situation? So far I'm only hearing the same thing.

Yea you would think but the problem being is that aside from Russia there would be no power house to oppose us, on the flip side there are some big countries willing to support us. I mean aside from Russia who could really face the US in this situation and pose any real threat.🔰darkmagician🔰 wrote:

This is though Russia and china don't hav good relations, for some reason unknown to me. But it's to my understanding Russia and china have a very volatile relationship while Russia and the US are, for the most part, neutral with each other so I feel like if china retaliates Russia may even see that as enough of a reason to invade china. Which no one in the world wants. So ultimately I see this playing out pretty smooth and any countries just sucking it up and letting the US do what needs to be done.

Ok, here's the thing. Obama told Assad's forces not to use a chemical weapon or else (verbatim). They did, and he said there was no proof of it, when proof rose, he condemned the maneuver, that's it. Here's the thing, we have to do something or else Syria will be anti US after the civil war.

As Long as were going to bomb Syria shouldn't we bomb Monsanto for using chemical warfare against our own people??

"Letting the US do what needs to be done...? What "needs" to be done? Which countries will be "sucking it up"?Please, enlighten me...
And what would be "absolutely hilarious" about NK threatening to use nuclear weapons?
Is this what you learn in school? See on Faux News? SNL? -
Well lets see here. Russia and china don't like each other and they haven't for a while now. We're either to focus their military forces elsewhere one may get ballsy and invade the other. That was a maybe from the get go. Plus yes let the Us do what needs to be done. It's a well known fact that chemical warfare is not tolerated on any level that has been standing since the mid 1900's. plus the fact that the only nuke they have is weaker than the ones the US dropped on Japan not to mention they're not capable of firing the middle overseas they would have to transport it by ship and fire from a closer range.

This has nothing to do with what I learned in school. These are opinions and possibilities based off observations of facts. So maybe next time rather than question what is plainly spelled out you could pose a counter argument and not come off as somewhat of a smart ass... Not to be rude, just saying.

In the. Last 2 years over 100000 thousand people have been killed in syria but now the west and Obama want to shoot a couple of rockets and say don't use chemical weapons in your civil war.....
Obama is trying to look tough because he's been very weak on foreign policy. We need to get out of the middle east all together. And get Canadian oil south to USA and a pipeline to eastern Canada.
I/2 of Canada is feed from the middle east right now ?!?! -

So your conclusion is that if the US doesn't divert their attention to Syria or some other conflict area one will invade the other?Well lets see here. It makes no sense whatsoever. This is pure speculation based on nincompoop logic. -

I'm not being a smart ass. I just cannot in my wildest imagination imagine where you would get the idea that Russia would invade China over a US led military action in Syria. The only reason this is even being discussed is because the UN cannot come to a concensus in this matter because Russia and China have issues with invading Syria. This has nothing to do with what I learned in school. These facts you are observing and basing your opinions and possibilities on, where are you finding them? -

It's not that one would invade the other due to our actions. I'm addressing the fact that people feel Russia will declare war on the US if we take military action against Syria I'm which case china may see as a moment of weakness since Russia will have their troops focused on us. See you're missing what I'm trying to get across. I'm stating that Russia won't step in becuse there would be too much at stake for them. The fact is even aside from a urging else you have to consider the fact of, what does Russia have to gain from a war against the US?

Russia won't go into Syria because they support Assad. The US supports the opposition. One might say it is a remnant from the Cold War.
China doesn't care either way as long as noone starts poking in their business or the alleged human rights violations.
