The following is a game concept I have come up with. However i cant take all the credit, Mystery also assisted. The game is easier than it sounds.
WAR GAMES
4 teams
Team 1 red
Team 2 white
Team 3 blue
Team 4 orangeEach team has 10 players and will only have 10 turfs totaling 100 turfs.
Total mob count cannot exceed 550k.The designated team leader, names 1 turf "home base", thus only giving him/her 9 turfs to use. Once home base has been established it can not be moved!
Each team will start from one point and will not be able to set up until all teams have arrived at the starting point. Once all players have arrived, a message will be sent to the team captains letting them know to begin and will have 24 hours to reach their assigned corner or area to defend.
How do you win?
If your team acquires your opponents home base, your team wins that battle. -
If a turf is captured from a player he will have to play with 1 less turf. So if 5 turfs are captured from one player he can only use 5 remaining turfs and so on. If the capping player goes over his cap limit he/she has 30 minutes to decide which turfs to tear down to be within his limit. If a player is caught having more than his limit of turfs after 30 minuets they are out of the game.
Teams will have 30 days to capture the opponents home base.

ONLY when your team is down to 5 remaining players and your team caps out an opponents player, then your team captain can bring in a capped player from the "opposite team." This would only take effect 1 time when the team has 5 or less players and can happen at any time after having 5 or less players.If by doing this causes a team do drop to five players, that team may bring in an opponents capped player however the player cannot be the same player which was acquired by the opponent.
After 30 days if teams have failed to capture the home base, 1 player will be voted off by each opponent. Teams will then have 5 days to capture the home base. If teams fail to capture the home base a second player will be voted off by each opponent. If teams again fail then the teams with the most turf wins.

How do you police when some gets a turf capped (it's torn down by the player capping it because it will him/her over limit) and a short will later the capped turf player just replants?

The only thing I can think is that the large players have the advantage when it comes to capping because they can cap and get their limit back up where the small ones destroy turf in a V so once they go below 10 turf it'll be harder to get it back. Unless you consider it as a balancer for range? In either case good luck.

@Pinesap, i will need 4 captains to volunteer. A central Pal room will be created and they pick from there. This is gonna be by trial and error. As we go along we will fix what needs to be fixed and so in. As far as policing turfs? Well if a player fails to use his limit and goes over he/she will not be allowed to play. I hope everyone will police themselves and be honest.

I would like to give it a try but just like SK games there will be outside distractions. Players not participating in these games will continue to hunt players that may want to get involved in these games. If that happens these war games will not get the attention required by those hunted. Then teams will become uneven just like SK games. This needs to be given some thought in the planning. Sounds like it could be fun once we work everything out.

I'm open to suggestions. We could implement where his/her team is penalized somehow?

This sounds like a lot of fun. Some questions that shoul be addressed: Where will it be located? How big will the play area be and will it be easily defined (by a turf line)? The suitable location would be a decent sized city, so the coverage (where turf can be placed) of the map won't be so small it hinders the game but not so big that there is no challenge. But most decent cities would have hundreds of turf covering them. Would that be considered an additional obstacle, or would it be preferred to have a blank area of map to themselves?

How about Davenport, IA? The interstates I-80 and I-280 create a rectangle which could serve as the boundaries. Theres a decent size and not too many turfs everywhere. It's about 100 miles from the airport at Chicago, IL. Possibly too far...?
