E-cigs
Forums › General Discussion › E-cigs-
I think these have been discussed before but I'm too lazy to search. Anybody else using them? I think they are an amazing invention,I haven't touched a cigarette for nearly 3 months now.
They save me near enough £130 a month, vapour where I want and the added bonus they don't kill me.
I should have done these along time ago -
I'll reply properly in a minute but I've heard bad things bout them
-
I quit smoking and switched to e-cigs for about a year and a half, slowly dropping the nicotine level. I finally even quit the e-cigs too without any problem.

Yeah ... I was listening to the radio the other day on the drive home from work, and they had this professor guy talking about e-cigs. Long story short, apparently studies done recently have shown that there are more bad chemicals in them than there are in normal cigarettes.
Obviously it's only what some guy on the radio said, and I have no was of proving either safer than the other ... and to be honest I don't care enough to research it when I could be having a coffee and smoke on my front porch oogling the hot chicks walking past. Lol.
Just thought I'd put it out there mate. Those e-cigs are bland anyways. They taste like steam 😛

Before the E-cigs I smoked regular cigs for over 20 years. The e-cigs was the only thing that got me to stop. Good luck!★ՏωɑɱpƊṏɳkɛʏ★ wrote:

Thanks swamp, turfa there are always gonna be speculation from people saying they are bad. But how could they be? I feel 5 times better,my chest is better,no coughing up crap and you can use them anywhere. Granted they ain't good for you but they must be better than cigs....I suppose they are still in their infancy and not tested properly but hey they definately work for me
-
Not sure if they have them in your area, but look for an ecig lounge or vapor lounge. It's basically an ecig store where you can try tons of different flavors, and buy some crazy huge batteries that last for a couple days between charges. I had a Joytech eVic. By the way, most gas station ones taste like crap, though I found one I liked made by V2Cigs. Hope that's helpful.

As I'm in the UK there doesn't seem to be that much choice...it might be completely different over in the US.
I smoked menthol cigs so I'm sticking with a make called vapestick menthol and I can buy them just around the corner. -

Over two years here.

Rud, our NHS should prescribe these and not the stuff they do ATM!
I started on e cigs one day, within 4 days I had quit smoking, and quit the e cig and I didn't even want to quit just yet.
They are the boolax!
-
Exactly DJ,I honestly don't know why every smoker doesn't go ecig, there are so many positives
-
I've been vaping for a while now. I don't smoke cigs at all and in fact, my stomach turns at the smell or taste of a cigarette now. As for them being bad for you, I use an edible grade glycerine with edible grade natural flavorings and I add my own nicotine (I'm now at NO nicotine) the vape is purely a physical fixation now.
I've recently started vaping THC (in states that it's legal) instead of smoking flower. I have to admit that my chest is more clear, my breathing is less labored during strenuous activities, and I feel better. I'm a supporter of vapes. We are all adults. It's time to take our freedom back (hahahaha😜)

So many positives! It cuts out the tar and all carcinogenic chemicals that are inhaled, formaldehyde etc etc.
Yes it is still feeding an addiction but is nicotine addiction worse than alcohol addiction??
Loads of blokes at work have got on this band wagon and they all rate it!
The only reason people in UK say it is bad for you is because 1) they work for the NHS and 2) they can't tax it to make money on it yet!

My other half has been using those for about a year now. He doesn't really have nicotine in the cartridges anymore. Maybe like 5% or something. It worked like a charm though. Once he started that he never picked up a cig again. There's really no better optin for those that can't quit cold turkey.
I quit smoking myself 20 months ago. Cold turkey at that. When he did it six months later I could just steal one of his ecigs if I ever had the itch. I really don't even do that anymore though. With over a hundred poisons in each cigarette I can safely say I don't miss the little devils.
Anyways, good for you, Rud!

Yeah it's bullshit that its supposedly bad for you. All it is is vapor. If anything, nicotine can be bad if you have heart problems, but other than that there's no real downside to diluted nicotine vapor. Always do your research obviously like bus but overall you're good.

Go e-ciggers....group hug!
You should all be proud of yourselves...I know I am.
But at the end of the day,we shouldn't have started,to all you kids on here..DO NOT start smoking 🚬👈🚫 -
Damn straight do NOT smoke! It's bad mkay!!!! But yes congrats to all quitters!
I always thought quitting smoking was for quitters! And I'm a winner! Well I am now! Lol

VapeNY.com
Better then The commercially advertised e-cigs
I used Blu for a bit, but it didn't cut it. VapeNY actually matches the nicotine levels of you current brand to help with not having to bounce back to smoking. Then periodically they lower your nicotine levels as you go. -
I'm 14 never smoked my dad did for 50 years its a long story he's older..truly my grandpa but that's family stuff..lol I know he quit by eating candy. Please don't smoke I don't wan anyone like my dad. He's 70 an on oxygen with 40% of his lung capacity and COPD. With this he gets pneumonia often and if he catches it a few more times he may never make it home. This is not a story of me looking for pity rather sharing what could happen. Please don't smoke!

Don't use disposable ones...they are garbage, and last a third of what they say on the packet.
I guessing your from the US so it would be good for one of the US players to answer👆 -

I use one called an "ego-t" but there are many different manufacturers. It's basically just a rechargeable ion battery pack and a "tank" that holds your e-cig fluid. A little bit bigger than a sharpie™ marker but still very discreet and portable. Some of the guys at work have theirs on a lanyard around their necks but I find that cumbersome and annoying....〓 MR71VWBUS 〓 wrote:

I'm vaping my provari in the clinic waiting room right now as I wait for my daughter. Try that with a cigarette.

This place makes great juice

Ego-t is good, smokeless image has a nice starter kit. Start with something cheap, but not too cheap, then upgrade to the provari if you like vaping. It costs $200 but you'll never buy another one.

I hope in 20 years they don't find out those things are terrible for you.
