Greetings. I've been lucky enough to survive 3 years being clear from Osteosarcoma but unfortunately, all matters of good health come to an end.
On Tuesday, after a series of symptoms which lead to blood tests and bone marrow biopsy, which was horrible btw, I have been diagnosed Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Yayyyy!

Basically, I'm asking you turfers for your experiences, if you are unlucky to have any.
What I really want to know is the type of routine of chemo you followed. How long you were in hospital for each cycle ect.
The doctors can't tell me due to how variable it is on how I react to chemo, so I just want an estimate of how long I'm expecting.
Stuff like that.

I had acute lymphomic leukemia and I'm not really sure how they differ from one another. But I'm really sorry to hear that. And I feel you with the bone marrow diagnosis it's truly the worst pain I've ever gone through. Sorry I can't be of more help and best of luck

I lost remission at the beginning of this year to the same monster of your opposite blood cancer, lymphoma, refractory primary CNS lymphoma. So it's a different ball of wax.
Still, you have your best cheerleader in me as a YW friend, I'll be there for ya.
And applejax, if you want to cheer each other on that would be cool too.
Shit.
We will be The Cool Kids on TW and I'll be the Den Mother.
Cancer sucks donkey balls.

My cat has had Leukaemia for the past 4 years, it didnt seem to slow him down. He still brings birds to th porch, he catches them without front claws. He eats a ton besides that I haven't seem a difference. That's my .02 if a cat is somehow comparable. Good luck 👍
