Kix really isn't unheard of but they are from Maryland where I live so maybe that's why they seem popular to me.

They're a band I hate. I refer to it as warped wrist cutting musicTurf🐑Warrior wrote:
who's tool? For real I've never heard of themI cannot believe tool is a band that someone doesn't know anyone who has heard of them. And third eye blind unknown? If you've had big singles on the radio you are not an unknown band. Both third eye blind and tool have had multiple songs on the air

Tools one of the best rock bands of me generation. Consistantly put out a better album then the last. Thier first two albums were dark(ish) but that was 20 years ago almost now. They've grown alot. I say check them out. Start with the album "lateralus" great and potentially uplifting album. I'd you like thier style after that go backwards to the political/socially driven "aenima". If you have a brain this album will make you think. Especially if you burn one firstTurf🐑Warrior wrote:

Omg? Rammstein and Megaherz are german bands. And rammstein is very popular in europe.Rammstein (sp?). Megahertz.
And its spelled megaherz... (herz, like the german word for heart.)
And in switzerland is fear factory unknown. Theyre last concert was awesome. 2-300 people, and nearly everyone knows each other. I saw garagebands with more fans here.
Stupid country. Sometimes...

Rammstein got pretty big for a brief period in north America I'm the 90s as was fear factory...I'd love to see them play a smAll venue that be cool

The Frames? As in Glen Hansard's band?yeah. they're not big in the states. about a year ago, glen hansard came with marketa into my restaurant. this was when I was working in a small 30 seat place. a friend of my chef recognized him. I hear about it after. I was so pissed. so maybe cooking for glen hansard isn't as glamorous as cooking for Paul McCartney or Natalie portman, but at least I got to meet them. aaarrgghhhh.
that furry ginger man is the one that got away. -

I like Fear Factory. The first time I ever heard them was on the Grand Tourismo game soundtrack in which they covered the song "Cars" by Gary Newman. This song was also released on their album "Obsolete" which, in my opinion, is their best album.Rammstein got pretty big for a brief period in north America I'm the 90s as was fear factory...I'd love to see them play a smAll venue that be cool

ST are/were awesome! Totally agree about the mosh pit up front... Mental!
Small anecdote: while paying bills and wearing an ST shirt, I was approached by an old lady who told me suicide is not an option and that God would not forgive me for wasting my life. Loved that shirt =)
