Any longboarders here?

Hey I've really been wanting to get into it it looks fun I kind of want to do free riding and maybe be able to do some tricks. If by any chance some of you here longboard could you suggest a good beginner set up? Thanks you guys!

They're completely different though. Bikes work out your legs while boards don't. So it's easier starting up on a board at a cross walk where as bikes (if you been riding for a long time and its possibly uphill) it's going to be harder. Also boards you can just take and go. In order to do that with a bike you need the Pokemon fold up on :P
But I'm for both (idk how to ride a skateboard that well) but w/e :P

Honestly, if you want to try tricks, get use to the board first, starting off with a total new thing and tring to do tricks, that's like haveing a 10k mob and trying to cap Micky Dunn, so get use to the board, and when you think your ready for a trick or two, go for it but it will take time for you to master each trick, same for just regular skate boarding. You have to learn to ride it before you can do tricks, almost the same as when you were a baby, and you just started walking.

Lol I know you're joking(I think) but yea I like skateboards too I just can't spend a lot of time on them they get boring after I can't land a trick after a billion try's.

Skating bowls, pumping tranny and grind coping is the way to go.

Yw, and a heads up, long boarding is easier to ride but harder to do tricks.
