Ok so I've been with my girlfriend for a year and 2 months. Everyone thinks we're the perfect couple and are going to get married and I feel that way too. There's only one problem. I CANNOT STAND HER ANYMORE. She's book smart but common sense dumb and is a complete cluts. People think we have the perfect relationship, but all we don't is fight all day. I want a future with her and can't imagine my life without her but I can't stand being around her anymore. I need a break or something new I'm my life. Someone please put there thought into this.

Break up with her. Don't mess around dragging things out, it just hurts you both more. You can't have a happy life with someone you can't stand. You obviously care for her but things between the two of you sound awful. Be an adult about it and make a clean break.

The huge question is... How old are u and what experience u have with the "person u can see yourself with". Sometimes opposites attract more than I think, but some people need someone who is exactly like them. Be honest, state ur feelings, and see what happens. Some people enjoy a challenge to make a relationship work, some want it to be an exact fit. Some times, it's just not meant to be. The one person u need to listen to is yourself, regardless of any advice. Hope this helps, good luck!

Break up with her. Don't miss the opportunity to find someone who will be right for you because you're too busy trying to salvage something with someone who makes you miserable. Trust me, nothing is harder to get over than regret.

Try going on break for 2 weeks. And if you go completey insane cause you miss her so much she's worth the trouble of trying to fix everything. If your fine and it doesn't really bother you, you should break up with her.

But @Ghost I have a few friends that are extremely smart but have no real world sense.Even if you sometimes get frustrated at her you need to just adjust to it.find a way to make a better relationship.share your feelings.

I would move on if your fighting that much now it will ge worse if you add $ issues or kids . There are a ton of great ladies out there trust me.
You will be helping her as well.

Maybe you should consider the reasons why you decided to date her in the first place.
Good looks?
Availability?
Fun?
Lovable?
Etc.
Consider each reason and determine if they are good ones....Then make your decision.

The hardest place to see the future from is the bottomless pit of a bad relationship. Just because you want a future with her doesn't mean you can force it to happen. If you are dead set on staying with her try a solid marriage counselor. They may help you sort some stuff out, but in reality you sound like you are over it & your just trying to convince yourself that you owe her something.
P.S. Start buying your own condoms & keeping them in a safe place. You don't need any failures right now.

It sounds like you're attached and scared to break free, which is obviously what you really want since you can't stand her anymore. Whether your reasons are good or not (that's something you can dwell on later and use to learn), the bottom line is neither of you will be happy if you don't like being around her. Spare the both of you and cut her loose.

I'm 18 for everyone that's asked and things are going a little better. Women seem to lack common sense and stupidity pisses me off more than anything. She's very pretty and extremely smart, when if comes to school. She's took 5+ ap classes in high school and is going to college to become a lawyer. I feel like its only like this because we're together 24/7 and never have time to ourselves. She's staying at her own house for a week right now so I can actually get a break and relax.

I find that you need time away every now and then. My wife tells me every Friday to have a guys night. It's basically a night to get away from her. Might not be a bad idea for you and your girl, ghost.

Lighten up. Sometimes it takes a little naughty fun to help you decide wether it's worth the effort. If he does something and regrets it, maybe he should continue to make it work. But if he has a great time and realizes that it was better than what he already has going, that could be the direction to go.
So I say this: you got a week off, so use it. Go try and hook up with another girl.* See what it's like and make a decision based on how you feel the next day.
* But make sure it is more than an hour away from your home town. There are a 100 reasons why....easier to hook up, you won't get caught, they won't stalk you... Etc etc.
