About 6:45pm central time a woman fell out of her seat and hit the ground while riding the Texas Giant. While details are still sketchy, it's still heartbreaking. From what I heard, her kids where screaming in the coaster in front of her as they pulled into the station.

I grew up riding that coaster as a kid and I never felt safe on it.

Been to that park. Never ridden the ride though. Very sad story.

"Arlington police are investigating whether the woman suffered a medical emergency before the fall."are they trying to say she was already dead before hitting the floor? Or that it was her fault for trying to get off the ride? Either way it's sad. A lot of teens work at my local six flags sometimes you wonder if they are in charge of safety too.😣

@yucko, I "hope" that's the reason, I hate to say that. Bless the family.

However, The Texas Giant felt as if it was made of Popsicle sticks. If you put your hands 'up,' you'd come within a foot of losing them. The structure also moved too much.😒

I always ended up with a headache after riding the Texas Giant. 10 years ago i chipped a tooth ridding the Texas Giant, that thing shook so much it was horrible. Hadn't ridden it since and won't!

Nah all I meant was its weird how we get so upset about someone dying but love to do it in games (aka call of duty)
