I've had a bruise like pain (definitely not a bruise) on the heel of my foot for about a month now and I was wondering if anyone could help me out by telling me what it could be. Thanks.

Like a pressure sore? Soak in Epsom salt and/or hydrogen peroxide... Not together...

Most likely a torn tendon, might want to go see a foot specialist/doctor about that, I had a friend who had to get some removed, she was in a wheelchair for months.

Could be a infected sweat gland, could be a heel spur, could be 'runners heel', could be an actual bruise, hurt muscle, tendon, etc - stop asking TW - we got enough foot problems with Sabasaul around

Could be 1,000 things. Plantar fascitis is a possibility, too. Get it looked at.

I had Sezers (idk how to spell it) in my heel for 3 years, hurt like a bruise, that could be it. I got custom fit insoles and it went a way after 4-5 months.

Yes if you have walked a lot in ur life you may have worn your heal bone away which goes in to a sharp point meaning to much pressure on your heal may cause the pain just one theory has my dad suffers with this
