Driving instead of hopping
Forums › General Discussion › Driving instead of hopping-
Has anyone fore to a certain location, instead of hopping? If so how far was the drive. I'm thinking about driving 4.5 hrs (367km)due to more activity and it will get me closer to an airport. Just wondering if it would be worth it, it's prob going to cost me 50-60$ there and back.

Many times but mainly planned trips that I place turf along the way.

Dare i ask whats 4.5 hrs from Timmins?
Ive never done a 4.5 hr trip just to drop turf - but it usually weighs heavily in the planning. 😊

North bay, and now that I think about it I don't feel like driving for 9 hours. Maybe my lack of sleep is getting to me..

I always save some turf slots for my holidays, and pulled the car over whilst in the uk to plant turf, but have never planned a trip purely for that purpose

You can make that hop in a few days with a bit of dedication.

I drove about 2 hours (each way) for a war...then got capped out the next day by some f'n backstabbers.

Once upon a time, before plane tickets, my old crew had a requirement that basically said you had to hop the eastern coast of the US. Most of us made it from NY to South Carolina at the very least. I got capped out in Georgia by H@voc a few miles before the Florida boarder.
I'd say just hop. Save the actual gps planting for when you go on a vacation. 👍
