Mob up or shut up. A question
Forums › General Discussion › Mob up or shut up. A question-
So every day I get similar messages. Level 45 so and so who has 800 mob got attacked by level 56 who has 3000+ mob can I help level 45 since he is being bullied.
My question is, is this a case of bullying or is it just what happens to you when you refuse to put the time in to mob up? I personally can't say it's bullying. By level 35 you should know how the game works. It's not bullying just because he spent time mobbing up and you didn't.
What does the tw community think about this? -

Alot of ppl just don't have the time and to refuse a call of help from someone at such a disadvantage is being a straightup prick and your ass should be handed to you. If you're not going to offer help offer advice but don't be a prick about it, actually give advice or point them in the direction of someone who can ACTUALLY help

Tw community, I wasn't trying to be a prick by asking this. I'm known for helping weaker players I just wanted to see what everyone elses view was on this matter.

I agree a little with both of you...I've been playing about a month now and have just over 1000 mob. I don't really have the time to spend hours punching codes. I do a couple a day and post mine on the invite forum. As to is it wrong to attack someone with a smaller mob no. But remember with great mob comes great responsibility!!! Those with large mobs should know when to stop attacking as making the game un playable to new people is prickish!

I completely agree with that comment. But at what point does one stop being a new player? Level 35? 25?Those with large mobs should know when to stop attacking as making the game un playable to new people is prickish!

Well I've come across level 70ish people that seem to be unable to play the game and some level 4 people that are really switched on! Level doesnt really matter. All players should know when to stop attacking! In fact I think everyone should stop attacking each other and get along!

I'm not saying you're a prick for asking the question, the way you're being a prick is by ignoring a fellow turf warrior in a time of need and by refussing to help someone in any possible way. Like I said, alot of ppl don't have time to punch in codes and others (more of those that are isolated in a lonely area) seem to have less mob members than the lower average, to tell a player with 800 to "Mob up or Shut up" when asking for help from a bully that's 3k+ is pretty much being an asshole in my book.I highly doubt I'm being a "prick" by asking this question. It's a war game. The nature of it is to attack and take over turf. The game gives zero reward for attacking an equal or grater opponent. This is also part of the games nature. I take every issue on a case by case basis. If l decide I like something about the player or if they're a little too new then I'll step in or find someone who can. Usually just the fact that I do step in ends the conflict. If I don't want to help them then I most usually just don't answer.
-
And in my oppinion unless the player is an unestablished noob there's not really any such thing as bullying

My way of doing it was to start a small war with the noobs n try to teach them how to handle being under situations where it seems impossible. I got to say there's great results at the end. Just look at timecop. Started with him about a month or so ago n he shot up about 2 (going on) 3k n his defence is excellent. Now I have to work on his offense with em try to make em push me backto tell a player with 800 to "Mob up or Shut up" when asking for help from a bully that's 3k+ is pretty much being an asshole in my book.

But I don't go ape shit on them. I just do small amount of attacks (just enough to hold em down) n cap a turf here n there, in the end of it all I got them taking theyre turfs back leaving me with only my originals (it's always a wonderful sight to see someone come a long way) 😄 you can at least do that for them (not the war part but the tutoring n trying to instruct them on a better strategy)

Yeah thats annoying i started 10 wks ago and punched 10000 codes to get a 6k mob and im STILL being bullied and being told to mobup. I was capped 8x in 24hrs lol. Its just a matter of TIME old codes are useless to a new player they have to wait for good codes
-
Old codes are importsnt too. But as new player staying on top of new codes and temps is most important.
If a noob messages me looking for help I usually just give advise on mobbing and strategy. I can't see myself getting involved in a vendetta between two 1200 mob players. Just feels weird lol.
-
Peeps tend to forget that you have something as random attacks aswell...
I mean, ive been attacked by 5-6K+mob guys... Do i swear at them? Nope... Its a part of the game.
I also attack random peeps, to get some more cash in... Does that make me a bully if i pick random peeps with less mob than me? -
Everyone attacks random ppl but if your leeching/farming from a specific person thats a different story

you have the advantage alot of us don't have (me included) you have enough time to actually punch in codes. I barely have time to put responses n a few attacks cuz I'm always on the move, I rely on the mob invites to mob up, if those stopped I would have to try to figure somethin out to get more mob members, it's just alot of us don't have the time n it sucks.Yeah thats annoying i started 10 wks ago and punched 10000 codes to get a 6k mob and im STILL being bullied and being told to mobup.
