I love storms! My younger brother.... Not so much. Currently, there is a severe thunderstorm in my area & he is freaking out...
How do y'all feel about storms? :)

I like them too, it's also good for the droughts we've been having. But last night there was a tornado watch in my area, I knew there wouldn't be a tornado, but my dad got up at 2 am to Check the radar and stuff. But I was out like a light in my room 😜

Yeah I went there 7 years ago back when I was 12. Seriously, went from sunny, clear & super humid to storm in literally 10 minutes.

My primary job is casino security. However, I supplement my income during the summer by working on cars. Since I don't have a garage to work on, I have to do my work outside in my driveway.

Ugh, I can tell you are not a carpenter lol. True though, a carport isn't hard to build.
@Shadow King, I work in forestry these days, and when it's raining or windy we can't spray herbicides or plant trees. In fact, even when it's too hot we often can't work because plants shut down and don't absorb chemicals.

I'm a carpenter though. A carpenter who lives in a carpentry-hostile area 😖

Takes a little more than that to build a decent carport, my friend. And I did build one. Unfortunately, it's on the other side of my property and has my el camino sitting in it. It sits rather low to the ground, a mere 8 inches higher than the car's antenna, but the way it's built, it protects it really well and isn't likely to blow over in the high winter winds we get here.

I can deal with that. But I won't be joining up for another 12 months. Long story short, they told me they didn't want me because I had a fiancé and might bail out on them.
