Microsoft and Sony announce next gen 🎮 price

  Xbox One is slated to be $499.
  Ps4 will be $399 to start.
  Thoughts? Opinions? Who will be getting it and who will be waiting? Who will be switching console allegiances?

  PS4 supports used games. That's the major selling point for me.

  i thought it wiuld be pushing $600 this time, glad i was wrong. ill stick with ps4. i dont like where ms is going with used games abd like my ps3 just fine.

  I was on the fence on this decision before. My cousin was pulling me towards the PS4. E3 helped me make my decision today. I will finally be able to play Battlefield with my cousin soon and also re-live my childhood with the announcements of Star Wars Battlefront 3 and Kingdom Hearts 3.

  Did someone say BATTLEFEILD FRAKING THREE!!!!! I didn't even hear about that. I loved the first two games. They are the only reasons I hold on to my PS2.

  Ya, stick with the old until they work the bugs out and start getting the games to back up the console. The first few games are never that great.

  I got my first PS2 last week.
  Hard to believe I never had a games console.
  I always had computers instead. :-D

  The restrictions on the xbox one are ridiculous, and the ps4 nothing but praise apart from the design 😜.... Anyone heard about the game prices yet ?

  I'm with you there 10 fold man, those games (a long with Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy) were my childhood!

  I heard they were ganna be $80+ for next gen, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see..

  Xbox 360 was very poorly made. I went through 2 in 4 years with minimal use. I would never buy another Microsoft gaming device again.

  As for the ps4 - 399 seems reasonable based on historic launch prices.
