I wrote something very similar last night and decided to wait to post it. Now you have posted this, and I am glad to see a shared viewpoint.

Here is what I wrote:

After reading another round of forum posts tonight I realized that there are quite a few people choosing to take a break.

I think this is a good idea. I find that behind the mobster dramas we almost all would rather a player take a step back than to get stressed and take things too seriously.

I have opinions on quite a few things that have transpired in the past month. However I try to respect that each of my friends/allies has the right to play as they desire. I may not agree or like it...but TW isn't all about Batel.

Unless someday there is a Batel holiday. Hm. Instead of a Gasday where we take turf it would be a day of naming a turf something nice in another mobsters honor. Or a day when you message someone and tell them you appreciate them. Aww! Turf Hug Day!

In closing. I care about all of you guys and gals involved in recent warring. I hope that none of you make rash decisions that ruins this game for you. After all...we play by our own rules so that this escape from reality keeps a level of value.
