I recently bought a Kenwood DDX419 head unit(Double DIN Touchscreen) from a friend of mine. I'm installing it in my 95 240sx. Yesterday I kept getting a 'Miswiring DC offset' message when turning the unit on. So I checked all my wiring today and retried it. I'm no longer getting that message, but now the touchscreen isn't responding. The unit turns on fine, and goes to the initial setup screen, but won't respond to me pushing anything on screen. I've tried resetting it, and that doesn't help. I can't find any answers on Google. Can anyone help out?

Red wire is switched power
Yellow wire is battery constant
Black is ground
Blue is amp remote or anntenna
Grey green purple and white wires are for the speakers
Did you use a install kit or just wire it in -
Does the faceplate detach if so remove it and re install it

Get a new wiring harness. Yours is probably wrong.

Just rig it. You don't really need a wiring harness.☣ 🎸ӈɪƖƖßıƖƖγ🎸☣ wrote:

The wiring shouldn't have any effect on the touch screen because the wiring is for power and speakers. It sounds like your friend rippled u off and u need to take it to a stereo shop, it could be something simple but my guess is its probably gonna have to be replaced

This is my thinking, but I've known this guy for so long, I don't think he's the type of person to do that. But you never know. Count the pins on the back of the deck and look too see if there are any blank slots on your old harness
