Run you clever boy

Well after watching the season finale I have concluded that it was the best in DW history. Without a regeneration, we already know who the next doctor is. What are your thoughts about the ending?
-
Thank god its over and not sure what your talking about
-
It's not over it comes back in November, specifically the 23rd of November. And I'm talking about doctor who
-
Who's on first.
-
What is it about Dr. Who that teenage girls find so compelling?

Spoliers😉
John Hurt's doctor was known by Matt Smith, suggesting an earlier regeneration.
So, is this what happened in the time war (the 9th doctor was traumatised by it) or is this before it all began and therefore an explanation as to why he ran away from Galifrey in the first place.
Hmmm.....

There's no such thing as good British television.

What's this about TEEN girls? I'm obsessed and I'm 28. My daughter is obsessed and she's 8. All my friends love it. Everyone loves Dr. Who.

Are you SERIOUS? Besides Dr.Who and Torchwood, what about Downton Abbey, Sherlock, Merlin, the original Office, and all the other delicious programming? You're silly. Very, very silly. And I think that comment deserves an ER trip, really.

But astrophysisists measure distance between planets and galaxies in light years. It is the amount of distance light can travel in one calendar year.mdpaulk wrote:

Star Trek wasn't British.

They're saying that yes, it's a measure of distance, but it's distance measured by time, and they're using that time as a reference.Bernie Green wrote:

I know that.
It is just a phrase, nonetheless. -
A phrase used incorrectly. Even if it was the year part you were referring to, you'd still be wrong. November 23rd is a little over 6 months away. Either way it's wrong.
-
What's dr.who
-
I remember many years ago as a kid a computer game about dr who where you had 15 lives as that's the limit on doctor regenerations. I assumed the bbc would quietly forget that limit to keep the programme running indefinitely given its enduring popularity.

Thanks for the informative lesson.
Either way, it is a term I will continue to use.
😋But back on topic.
I am excited to see what is going to happen.
