🐖A question about bacon🐖
Forums › General Discussion › 🐖A question about bacon🐖-
In America, bacon is bacon, ham is ham, and Canadian bacon is diced ham. What are they called in Canada? Is Canadian bacon just bacon? What about 'American' bacon? Do you call it American bacon? What about ham?

Seriously?

Either way you want to call it, bacon is bacon, bacon is from the filthy pigs, but damn my soul to hell it tastes so good.
Throwing the country of origin into the packaging just allows us to beat our chests with pride, knowing we support homegrown pigs... POW! British Bacon FTW

Canadian bacon is actually called peameal bacon. And bacon is just bacon where ever you are, what matters is the crispyness.

If you say "beer can," that's bacon with a Jamaican accent.

Read all of this as it WILL change your life. A bacon sandwich is awful compared to this! -fact! Now a different and cheaper cut of "pig" is gammon. 7-8 times the size of a rasher of bacon and four times as thick as thick cut. If you never try this in your life then I hope you die young as your life is utterly worthless without the "NEW BACON".
-
All this talk about bacon made me hungry. Made myself an omelet with bacon and Canadian bacon...I mean diced ham. Either way, YUM!
On a side note, WHY IS THERE NO BACON EMOJI?!?😡

Bit fuckin harsh bud, die young? Ffs. gammon is nice but no way a substitute for bacon. Its not even a substitute for a joint of ham. I place gammon way down the pecking order from the almighty pig chain 😝Read all of this as it WILL change your life. A bacon sandwich is awful compared to this! -fact! Canadian bacon is NOT diced ham! Peameal. Dice it if you will, but ...

Makes me wonder, do other countries do "full English breakfast". Sausage, bacon, hash brown, tomato, beans, mushroom and black pudding.

Lol, strange Americans... Butcher a pig any which way you want... over here, if it's a British pig, it's British bacon, or British streaky bacon. 😄👍⚜Ꮶ͜иιɢн͡т⚜ wrote:
