How do you fight depression and personal disappointment with yourself? 'Cause I am totally bummed out and unmotivated...

I usually force myself to do something productive and get active. Get a gym membership or take up running. Take up a hobby of some sort. Getting your mind and body active will definitely help depression.

I look in the mirror and flex. Sometimes you gotta remind yourself how pretty you are.

Keep yourself busy, take up a new hobby or try something new that u have always wanted to try. Another good way is hang out with friends. Sometimes all u need is to be around other people.

Honestly I used to punch if replaced mine. But it wasn't bad just stressed out about my job thats all. I felt bad so iused to punch like crazy. But I gave up on punching and just chill and just stopped stressing.

Hobbies. I'm not a big socializer. So now, on days that I'm not feeling tip top, I'll paint or play a little piano.
Or I cook a huge meal that takes most of the day to prepare. And eat it like a fatty. Food usually equals happiness.

What helped me -
1. Physical exercise. Get up and do something that makes you sweat, and do it with ppl - team sports, running with someone, etc. Social isolation is about the worst thing you can do.2. Eat better. 80% of your immune system is in your gut, it's like your second brain. Processed foods are not going to help, get enough water, no soda, plenty of probiotics.
And just move. Download some cool podcasts and go for a walk in your 'hood.

What helps me is talking, it's amazing how many people do care. And sometimes professional help is important because you need the extra guidance, don't necessarily want everyone to know some stuff, and it get's the worries off your chest.

Find yourself a hobby. Something that you're interested in.
Things I do and take a lot if my time:
- Buy a guitar and learn how to play. Enough to find on youtube.
- Start up an aquarium. You can read on and on about stuff like that.
- Brew your own beer or wine.
- learn how to cook fancy dishes.
- online gaming. Talk to people you dont know. -
