Heyy. Im looking for a university in english speaking countries. Im looking at engineering courses.
I managed to find some uni that provides the courses im interested, but price is a factor. Im wondering if anyone here can help tell me if theres any cheaper but worthy university.
It can be in uk,usa,aus,etc...
I wanted to study in japan but they teach in japanese so... -
There are 5 uni's in Sydney. I'm pretty sure they all have engineering courses but it's pretty expensive to live here let alone course costs.

What kind of engineering?
-
Mississippi State University

I heard Drexel has good engineering and its in the middle of Philadelphia so it's good to be in a city

Jurassic: im looking for mechnical or electrical engineering.
Hyena: yes. Studying 5yrs in aus costing about 100k, not something i can afford. Haha. -
I think prices are pretty high for most universities. Community college is a great deal, but I'm not sure if they have engineering. At least, you could take prerequisites there and save $ before transferring to a university. I graduated with a bachelors degree from Florida International University. They do a good job with foreign students, many of my classmates were foreign. Add them to your list, and research them.

Texas A & M

WVU institute of technology. We have a great reputation for engineering, and it's not very expensive.
-
Wvutech.edu for more information. We build robots, dune buggies, and lots of other cool shit. One of our researchers is making tremendous progress towards cleaner burning of coal!!

Know for having a good engineering program. It's in California and in English. Look into it. -
University in the US has turned into a big business and is going to cost you over $100k anywhere unless you're a top star student.

University of Texas. After the first year, apply for residency in Texas, 5000 a semester. Awesome engineering program. You can live decently if you try

Georgia Tech. Other than MIT, best engineering school in the nation.

If you're already at a uni in your home country, look into exchange program's. The cost is often dramatically less than if you try and just get straight into a new university. One of my friends did it to study in Scotland for a year and a half and only had to pay her regular uni fees to her original uni. Pretty sure your only expenses after that are a plane ticket and your food. I'm 99% sure they take care of your boarding in the host country. Something to look into.

Montana State is very good for engineering, right after Georgia Tech and MIT, but for a fraction o the cost. MSU is also a great place to go if you like skiing an the mountains!

If i were to enter a university in the those university in aus, usa or uk, i have to take an english test right? How does that go about?
-
Yes, you have to take a TOEFL test (in addition to an SAT test) to prove your knowledge of English. These tests are computer-based and there are centers all over the world. I don't know what testing time looks like nowadays, but when I took it it was only offered several times a year.

How are the questions like? multiple choice or ...

Multiple choice, T/F, that kind of thing. You can get sample questions and tests on their website.
