Don't you think that violent mob names are offensive? Take thaButcha for example. Does he go around butchering people? Animals? Very troublesome indeed!

Turf Wars is a worldwide app, allowing people from all over the world to play. This in itself is a good thing, allowing all of us to play and make friends and share the game. But, this also asks of us all to respect the life and beliefs we all come from. This being said, there is a way to moderate the game: just ignore the people you don't like or report them.
Here is a RL example: my neighbor does not mow his grass. his house looks like shit. But, what to do? use harsh words or get the neighbors involved? No. i went and asked him if he needed help. Turns out he has a sick wife and can't do all the things he used to do. Think about it. I almost did something stupid because i do not like his yard skills. Don't let people get you. Players come and Players go, just allowing us to cover their turfs for income.

Looking at it from another POV...

Anagram of thaButcha = Tuba Hatch.

In several walks of gang life especially within 'lifers' wings of prison, the term 'Tuba Hatch' is used in less than affectionate ways. To violate ones 'Tuba Hatch' is to inflict an offence of huge degradation. To mess with another's Tuba Hatch would bring severe consequences. Offence may be taken by newly incarcerated 'fish', who play witness to such acts upon their arrival into the penal institution.

My thread was part mockery, part trying to get people to think.

It's not ok to to suggest racism, but its ok to suggest muder?

We have numerous players named after real world criminals that committed real crimes against real people.

Er, it is a war game based on the concept of mob warfare ... We might be getting a little to "wet" in this thread - too politically correct. FarmVille is an alternative for those offended too easily ...
