Anyone know what percentage of all turfs MAV, viper and the rest of the top players own?

Do you think they each own more or less than 1% of the total number of turfs in the game?

I don't think we can work it out. I can give you a semi exact number as to how many turf have been created to date, but that includes all turf that has been torn down and destroyed.

Interesting...how would you determine total number of turfs created to date?

It would probably be easy for Nick to query the database for total number of turfs in the game today *hint hint* 😉

If you creat a turf then tear it down, you can see the turf number.

I created and tore down 2 turfs one after another, I got 384,731,299 and 384,731,425. Interesting that the number jumped that high between the two, created about 1 minute apart.

Well with global capping and planting, and wars it seems relatively low to me...

Actually the top 50 mobsters in the global influence only make up 8% of the total turf globally with Mr Doux having one tenthousandth percent of the total turf(all based off of shoguns numbers)

Can't be a good estimate. Because of hopping and cap-and-tear, I bet the number of turfs created is an order of magnitude higher than the number that currently exist.
