I know a few riders play...
I'm going to get my bike licence this year (or so I keep telling myself) and so want to get a little 125 to learn on...
Spotted the usual - Honda CBF125, but want to know if anyone has other recommendations?
Also, anyone selling anything that would suit? Cheap too!! Lol

I prefer a Kawasaki. Make sure u get a 2stroke. More power.

125 sounds a bit small if you want to get on the freeway. But if you're just learning and riding surface streets it should be quick and maneuverable. You might find a good deal on one because people tend to trade up after a year. Sounds like you have a good plan, just do some research.

I got my bike licence when I was 19 and my first bike was a Honda Hornet (CB250F) 250. I loved it, only honda 250 around with a 170 rear tyre. Really though the ideal bike depends on your height and weight mainly, but it comes down to what you feel comfortable on. Go to a dealership and just sit on a few bikes and see what feels most comfortable for you.ℤȺℂℍ ꀨ😲🔫😏 wrote:

Minimum 250cc but only if you plan to stay off public roads... If you wish to ryd along side those distracted drivers I suggest minimum 600cc. This is good to go with the flow of normal driving. Also, you will have enough power to pull ahead of possible bad situations! Ex. A bus decides to yield at a stop sign and not check both ways before entering into your lane and almost tBones you!
✨Relax ❤ take in everything ❤ enjoy the ryd!✨ -
👆👆👆👆👆👆👆👆read that👍
Hi Luv✊ -
I had a cagiva mito few years ago 125 2 stroke, was so much fun but spent alot of time in the garage

I wouldn't buy anything under 600cc. Even as a beginner you'll need the extra power. Just don't abuse it. Good luck👍

A 125 4 stroke is pretty much a pedal bike. If you are over 5'6 and 100 pounds go with a 600+. You will likely outgrow that in a year or two. I got a yz125 2 stroke as my first bike and wanted a 250 3 days into learning how to ride lol. I'm getting an R1 next winter as my first road legal bike. -
Don't get a bike unless you're suicidal

All decent advice guys, but in the UK the law restricts learner riders to 125cc. This isn't a bad thing either in my opinion. It gives enough power to achieve most speed limits (unless you hit large inclines! Lol)
Consider a Honda Shadow 125. V twin cruiser style. Nobody believes they're 125 and learner legal, they ride beautifully considering the limited output. Sure you're not going to win any races but its a bloody fun bike to cruise around on. Feels much bigger than 125.

Get a Triumph Rocket III

Ty for the input so far though... And sorry I didn't point this out at the start... Damn assumptions... Lol

Get the cheapest deal you can find in that case. You will outgrow it once you figure out the hand clutch lol⚜Ꮶ͜иιɢн͡т⚜ wrote:
