I recently started riding again (commuted for a few years in college 20+ miles a day). Any others out there? Anyone uses indoor cycle trainers?

SOB, I was talking to someone who cycles a few months ago. Really cool dude but I can't remember his name now...

Got me a Mountian bike a year and half ago. I love it. Take it out when I have the time. It's great

I ride. Few times a week when the weather is nice in Chicago. Every Saturday I do a 50-70 mile loop... Early in the morning and I'm back in just 2-3 hours or so. It's a lot more fun than I ever thought. I road bike.

I ride a bit. I've been known to get in a few thousand miles in over the summer. Hopefully this cold rainy weather will give way to some pretty moderate and sunny days.

No need for a trainer in California 😝 . I have a fixie I use to commute, a lot of fun to ride. A mountain and a road bike for the weekend. Use the Strava app, it keeps you pushing harder and track your progress.

Yep, have several mountain bikes and do 3-4 rides per week in the 20-25 mile range.

Mountain bike all the way. There's nothing like riding down a single track at 20mph dodging trees haha. Good for an adrenalin rush.

Mountain bike fanatic here. I've travelled and ridden some of the best trails in the country. Beats punching codes any day of the week.

I just got a Specialized Tricross elite disc compact and love it. Missed the dodging cars and stuff on the pavement. I'd love to try a cyclocross race just to see what it's all about but not big down here yet.Mountain bike all the way. There's nothing like riding down a single track at 20mph dodging trees haha. My two bikes of choice as of late are my Trek Fuel EX9 and my Orbea Alma 29'r. The Alma is setup as a fully rigid 1x9 and tips the scales a hair under 20lbs.

Use to ride long distance. Seems just no time for it now! Would like to buy a new bike and start up Again!

Road bike avg 30 miles. Have done a few centuries. Love to get on the mountainbike when I can too. Just requires more time
