Dang sounds like what I saw a few years ago!! I saw a lot of smoke when I got to school so I went over to see; this red car had tons of smoke coming out of the engine/drivers area. I'm pretty sure I saw a small bit of fire. A cop car had to ram it into the grass so the fire department could put it out.
