Blue tinted screen?
Forums › General Discussion › Blue tinted screen?-
Does anyone else have this issue? My iPods screen is tinted blue/yellow. I have decided what to do yet. Bring it in to apple?
-
Ya do that
-
Well is there another way besides bringing it to apple? Mine is jailbroken and idk if they'll cover it! 😼
-
There is an ap that will make it appear not jailbroken, but don't know the name of ap

Yea what is it called? But how about the blue screen!? Where r the nerds when u need em? I guess in school
-
You can also just restore it and then afterwards rejailbreak it

Ok but back to the blue tinted screen. As I type it's like that. 😓. Any nerds out there?
-
Ok well I've decided I'll restore it. If I set up my backup, will it still be jailbroken?
-
All ssh will be saved on cydia if you choose to let them.
-
Have you dropped/sat on it?you will probably find the screen has come loose inside the housing causing the screen to turn blue, i see this alot at work (i handle apple product returns for another company) best bet is to restore it and send it back to apple or the retailer.
-
If you bought it from a decent retailer and its within warrenty they will send out a brand new one as soon as you return it (Amazon is a good example)

No it won't, but there is an ap that will backup and restore your jailbroken aps. When I get home I'll look on my old phone to see what it's called. But just look thru cydia. Jailbreakme.com is by far the easiest way to do it. OTA. No computer needed. Just make sure you don't put 4.1 on itOk well I've decided I'll restore it. If I set up my backup, will it still be jailbroken?

I would think heat would damage it that bad unless it was extreme heat more likely damp to cause the blue screen.hendywarez wrote:

I upgraded to 4.1 accidently but I downgraded it to 3.1.3 so I'm good rejailbroke it
-
Yea but the new game center looks cool.... (. I'm still in school so I have friends I play with too! ). But I do know how to downgrade... Did it already
-
Like right now it's totally fine! I was playing a game and just locked and reopened it!! Very bizarre.
-
A magnet would do the same thing to your screen if it's next to your phone for a few seconds. See if it gets better over the next couple days
-
Hmm I'll try....
