I'm Dutch and we put mayo on our fries. We fucking drown em in that shit 😜 -
I was in Norway a few years ago and got a burger and chips in McDonalds. 16euro. Madness!
-
Lol wow. Why so much? Is norway super expensive or is it like a "sin tax" ?

Holy shit!! That's ridiculous. All hail the Euro!
-
Its Norway. I was there last year, the hotel restaurant charged me 50$ us for a cheesburger, fries, and a beer.
Its supply chains. Nothing is easy to deliver because everything is so spread out. When it takes 3 hrs between towns (even though you can see it across the fjord), shit gets expensive!

Like an iMac? Mines like 1500$ I would assume they take a similar price in Europe.... Then again...

Don't mess with mayonnaise. Not even you Ronster. We have the best mayonnaise there is and there's no comparison in other countries, they don't understand. There's nothing like Remia.👻⋆℟ꇎῃઙϮƎя⋆👻 wrote:

Here in 'Murcia, we buy Big Macs in bulk. We get them cheaper that way.

Remia's commercials were funny though. "Ze hebben daar geen Remia!"On topic: damn expensive, but really want to go to Norway and see the Fjords.

The cost of living is much higher across the board, if you are Norwegian however, your wages would be higher to match. So it has nothing to do with bulk ordering or the supply chains as also mentioned above.
A pint of beer is about 10euro. Fuckers. -
It was probably made out of real meat. The cost of fast food reflects the countries food regulations that it has to meet. My guess is that in Norway the government doesn't want it's people to eat catfood with steroids, so they set the bar for what is classified as "food" higher.

Norway is nouveau riche. And they don't have € as currency. The Norwegian Crown is strong, hence the costly experience at restaurants and hotels.

The socialist economy over there also dramatically increases price. It's great for the residents, but it sucks for a tourist.Benny DaBOSS🔫💀🌄 wrote:

By your logic a Big Mac would be as expensive in Sweden as it is in Norway. Instead it is about a third of the price. Check the Big Mac Index for Norway's PPP compared with other nations. I think this was what Shaggles was referring to to begin with.
Socialism has little to do with it. -
