I recently got a new knife and was looking at it. Nothing amazing but a simple store bought knife. I was seeing how sharp it was by carving some wood when it slipped from my hands and cut me but nothing major.
Later that day I was looking through my closet when I found an old pair of loose-fitting gloves. The thought came to mind, do they make tight fitting, comfortable, and cut-resistant gloves?
I'm not too sure where to go look for such a product so I came here. Are there any stores that might sell gloves like that?

Walmart in te fishing aisle. Called filet gloves great for just learning how to filet a salmon.

Google is your friend.
"Full finger, unlined all leather goatskin glove. Designed for tight fitting feel and dexterity. Slit at wrist with shirring and hook and loop closure. Reinforcing between fingers helps deflect objects during pat downs. Can be washed in mild detergent, dries back soft. Excellent all-purpose glove."

Walmart filet gloves are probably cheaper. 😔

Haha. I spend many a happy hour whittling the time away. It's my meditation time. Had many such cuts. 😄👍
I'm sure there'll be gloves out there, maybe even an old riggers glove would suffice.

Yes they do. I use cut resistant lvl 5 gloves at work when changing a Zamboni blade. Have never tried their cut resistance due to fear of losing a finger or two haha. Zamboni blades are crazy sharp. Not sure where we get them. I could look for you when I get back to work on Monday. But I'm sure you'll find them before then.

Well it started with sticks but I've carved a prototype smoking pipe, which I modded to fit my Ecig in lol. Pretty swish. I whittled a desert eagle style wooden pistol. A nondescript pistol crossbow. I'm currently working on a copy of the grip from the good old SA80, making a custom stock for an old air rifle.⚜Ꮶ͜иιɢн͡т⚜ wrote:
