Here's the thing. I enjoy capping shit. I'm not real picky either for the most part as to who or where. I try hard not to cap people who are not actively fighting or who do not pose an immediate threat. That being said, I can gurantee you I have capped my fair share of neutrals in the confusion of clearing areas & fog of war errors both from combatants & alies. I do not pretend to be innocent of these type cappings but I don't condone it either.
The main issue I have is players that help the other side to some capicity but then complain afterwards when they decide they don't like the response they've generated. If you've attacked someone from the other side, you should expect to continue to be capped until you have been deemed to no longer be a threat. -
In regards to this RIA alliance, I think its a smash up idea. Whatever it's gonna take to motivate more people to participate in active map play is great in my book. What better motivating force than kicking the asses of those pain in the ass, A.D.D., porn loving ass bags from across the pond. I ENCOURAGE everyone last one of you to make it your goal to cap my sorry ass completely out of the UK.

If local neutrals get capped in war nothing prevents them from rebuilding once the fighting has stopped. Take a look at the area between Newcastle and York, nobody has been prevented from rebuilding.

Dj, unless we all were name tags it is hard to know who is with who. Should I wait to see who will cap me and just play defense? I got v'd up two days ago from a person I had never heard of. Then pizza face guy and pro manacle start setting up on me. Never had any interaction with these folks b4. Maybe your group should adopt tags so there is no confusion? I bet players that read this and see my name can tell who I stand with, maybe if twfc, RIA, rua, reborns came out and proudly displayed tags neutrals wouldn't get capped.

Think of NATO forces fighting the Taliban. Pretty easy to tell who the good guys are, now think about who is hiding amongst the women and children trying to blend in. Now, I am in no way trying to imply the circles we trade are the same as soldiers and civilians killed in armed conflicts, just trying to show an example of how non uniformed enemy combatants can easily blend in with neutrals. DJ, if you truely cared about the new/ neutral players you would encourage your group to wear tags.

Come on lads,it's easy enough to know who's enemy and who is not....I can say hand on my heart I've very very rarely capped players who weren't associated with an alliance. But each player plays their own way,I disagree with it as it can ruin players TW experience
