Not sure if I have a favorite right now, but aside from Ballast Point's Scuplin IPA (San Diego, CA), one of my favorites of the last 2 years is Goose Island Matilda Belgian (Chicago, IL).

It depends on the situation. If I am drinking it with a meal then I have to say Guinness. But when I am drinking to get drunk it has to be something a little less thick because I cannot down more than a couple of those without being absolutely stuffed, so in would have to say Yuengling or something of that type.

Oh but wait, a local brewery makes a delicious brew called Station 33 Firehouse Red, it isn't very dark but is extremely smooth and has loads of flavor. I guess I cannot choose a single favorite beer, I love almost all beer!
