While I thought that Japan was going to be in the final game, Puerto Rico stepped up and surprised everyone. They have the talent and the confidence but I don't think they have a chance against the undefeated DR. Thoughts on the WBC?

I'll give you DR is putting out some great players - Pujols, Cano, Encarcion, etc. - and it can be argued that Pujols and Cano are the best at their positions right now (actually, not much argument for Cano - he is the best) - but there's plenty more non-DR players who are greats. But damn, the DR team had sixteen MLB players! And not chumps either: Reyes, Hanley, Casilla, Encarcion, Aybar, etc. I think they would've beaten more than a few MLB teams.
