Is it actually true that its impossible to hop to South America ? Has anybody actually done it ? Or is it just hearsay that its impossible ?

It took me 2.5 weeks from Houston to where I am now, can you beat that?

There was a thread that I was involved in called something along the lines of "Hop through South America".

In it me and others talked about such a hop and the main problem is a geographical feature of a national rain forest in the way that stops a highway and a smaller road from connecting. In real life there is likely a road that connects Panama to Southe America but it isn't shown on the TW map.

I left Tempe Arizona on jan 24 and I'm in amado arizona today, and I'm also hoppin to Alaska too

It's the Darien Gap. There really is no road.
