Nelly is from the south, and he's awesome. I wouldn't put lil Wayne in the same category as him.

He certainly has business talent. He makes money from the image he portrays in himself and those who brown nose him, the Niki minges of the young money bullshit. Lol it's all showmanship, to milk the cash cow that is the music buyer.

I don't dislike some of the material, I just don't care much for the way the 'disciples' hold him up as being some revolutionary artist. He tapped an already saturated market by adding a new twist. As I say, a good business man.

I liked I'll Wayne until around the carter 2. Then the drugs hit him, and he got all cracked out on really strong prescription cough syrup. (And who knows what else.) Then his songs stopped making any sense at all, and he just talks on his songs like pimps talk to their prostitutes. Sounds good, means nothing... Funny thing is his audience is primarily teenage males.
