Thanks for the PC advice guys... But I went to go see some today...

I ended up blowing £1100 on a mac air (or I think it's an air anyway!)

The desktop one not laptop. I'll confirm when I get off the loo and go check the box...

So much for a pc around £500 lol. I fail.

Oooooh well then I agree PCs are great for gaming, but I still prefer Macs. But for gaming? Usually a PC.

My MacBook is currently running both Mac OS X and windows... So gaming isn't a problem at all if you set it up right

Not like COD or anything (although I was assured this would work at around 30fps) as I suck at fps on a pc... It's more RPGs and thing like league of legends occasionally... So not serious games. Just things like knights of the old republic - I couldn't play on my old pc, and I could play that on the pc I had before even that one... So yeh, my last one sucked...

Now I just need to find the £1100 to pay off the credit card bill...

Actually CoD games run well even on bad computers. One good thing that comes out when you always rush out games.

PCs are best for RPGs. I play everything else on consoles.

Lol that's what I was thinking. Although tbh if you partition the drive you can dedicate a portion to Windows to play your games over there, and still use the (arguably better and easier) Mac side for every other computing need.

That's the thing though Mac and windows arent duel OS compatible. You can have both but when one of them updates (which is often) it overwrites the other OS. Linux I think is one of the only OS that does IS duel compatible... But it doesn't have steam yet! Gonna wait on getting it...
