Hi,
My computer just went pop... So with it being an old relic now, I am going to replace it.
Please can anyone recommend a pre built PC, which will play the majority of games on the market and should last me a good 4-5 years..?
I had a dell once before, but when new games game out I couldn't play them and couldn't change the graphics card as they are built in... So then i changed it for a newer PC a few years back that was ok, until last night lol.
Price up to say £3-400, or if this isn't realistic let me know!

Not realistic. At that price you can get a great Home PC. For a PC that can play most games easily it will run you around $900 or around £800 for you. (sorry didn't use a conversion just guessed) but you can build one cheaply that runs great.

Bodger if you know how to build one you can buy a very solid gaming rig that will handle 45+ fps on high graphics settings for under a thousand dollars (630 or so pounds, estimates). The Engineer helped me pick out parts, google pc world articles on step by step instructions. You'll get more bang for your buck building your own with the added bonus of making it completely upgradeable. Make sure to buy a decent psu and cooling system!

Bodger, Ares - I've never built one either. It looks really easy. It's literally slide this here, screw this there. Don't worry guys, life is a series of trials and errors - and once you do it once you'll be building PCs for the rest of your life. Start by taking apart your old one to see what goes where and to be able to recognize slots and locations for everything.

@Khal. Maybe in a few years when I need to get another computer I'll give it a shot. Till than I have been very lucky with my computer being able to handle most.

They have a complete guide and everything. That's where I started when I built mine.

Build it 👍👍 not too hard and will save you insane amounts of money. You can probably get one for £500-600 or less with parts that in a prebuilt would cost you hundreds and hundreds more. I can help you with a build if you'd like? If you're unsure of building I'd recommend the Newegg tutorials on youtube.

Building is easy. Most of the parts come with manuals, and you'll save lots of money and get exactly what you want. You won't find a prebuilt computer that can play most games, let alone games that will be coming out in even 6 months. Just don't buy ebay parts. You never know what you'll get. In electronics, brand names are everything.

Yep try building it's not that hard and I'm sure we'll be able to help. I built my last computer almost 5 years ago for about $600 and while I'm not a huge pc gamer it's still been able to run any new game I've tried.
Newegg is a great place to get parts.

I just have a laptop that's about 2 years old and it still works fine for all my games
