Riot shields...

Can someone explain to me why the riot shields are used first before armor when the stats are less?

They have 3 atk, armor has 2.

The Riot Shields might be usefull for lower level players but I'm selling mine as they cut you short on defense by taking place of Body Armor. This was a good point so I thought I'd bump!

other don't sell them. They don't replace for defense only attack.

Yeah, keep them! They are only used in attacks not defense if you have body armor. :-)

When looking at the "Manage Your Inentory" screen, it will always favor your Attack points. Go to the Market and look at the top of the list. Your calculated total defense is listed there....it will use Armor instead of the Riot Shields.
