I just remembered my Skip-It. I hadn't thought of that in probably close to 20 years.

I believe they were construx or something like that. I loved those.Did anyone have construction pieces? Similar to Legos but they are grey with the blue connectors at the joints. I can't for the life of me remember what they are actually called other than "construction pieces."

Yeah, I found pictures of them on google. Brings back memories, most of them consisting of stepping on those things in the middle of the night on my way to the bathroom.ƑƦཇཇ☠ཀaʂ٥ท wrote:

Mildew and spider webs hold sway over the lot.My good parents had bought me the lot.Buck Rogers up there too though pants less and a half chewed Tweeky which brings back memories of Sarge, one of our long dead dogs. I used to have a toy very similar to construx, I'm not sure what it was called though. Maybe it was an Australian version? Lots of fun.
Then I had that bricks and mortar set, Lego-sized bricks of clay, and mortar paste that you had to mix yourself, with instructions for building houses etc. soaking the whole set in water softened the mortar so you could tear down and rebuild something else. I loved that set.
Then I got K'nex, meccano and Lego, very large amounts of all three. I still have the meccano and Lego, it's worth money and I still enjoy playing with it 😝
Oh ... Can't forget the push bike! I haven't ridden for a couple of years now, but back in the day I was the terror of the local BMX track ... those were good days.

I found a couple of my old stompers in that box too. I replaced the batteries, unfortunately only one still works though.

I have my remains of the original GI Joes and Action Man (same thing different countries 1960's-1980??) a lot of bits and pieces but always brings back the memories when I get them out. Also anyone remember Big Jim, Zorlac, and Whiplash? I'm a hoarder and even have most of my old Lego complete with instructions. Those were (and still are) my favorites. Of course the new pieces have much better colors and details!!
