I have a nail on the side of my bookcase where I hang cables. All different kinds of cables, Ethernet, USB, FireWire, audio, video, hdmi. Years worth of miscellaneous cables. I just went up there looking for a specific cable and they're all gone. The wife thought they were looking messy so she threw them all away. Arrgh!

Ooooh, lucky night. I found the proper cable in my backup cable stash. It was in a big ball of wire stuffed in an old camera bag under my work bench. Good thing she don't have a key to my workshop.
