Played red dead redemption for ps3 other day and loved the graphics. Not sure if it's out for xbox though. Although I love gears of war and the hd DVD player...I'm not sure why to get as ps3 looks sick! Had a few xboxes before and loved em. I know ps3 has blue ray but you gotta buy actual blu ray discs to get good quality. With hd player you don't. Ahhhhggghhh. Any suggestions or opinions? Marty

Did you just say HDdvd player? I thought hd DVDs were shit canned when blu ray won...but red dead is def on 360 and I play it everyday

Online play xbox, any type of muliplayer gaming xbox, faster game servers xbox, the dreaded red rings xbox, Costumer service PS3, graphics PS3, single player game PS3, movies PS3 has a blue-ray player, and an iternet browser there's the pros and cons make ur choice I was a die hard xbox gamer but it was basicly their costumer sevice that lost me to PS3

online use on the xbox. Ps3 is free. Plus 21% of xboxs don't work when first opend, 52% die after a year. I use to know the boss of a gameteaders store. Go ps3 mate

The xbox 360 elite comes with a hd DVD player. I've owned 3 haha. The bonus is you just pop your normal DVDs in and they play at better quality. I'm sure ps3 does that too though! Bloody decisions haha! Thanks for replies.

Well put. I hate it when people are biased towards the one they have. I have a PS3 now and have had 2 360s which both quit working. 360 online is far superior, the graphics on PS3 are just plain better. Niether have HD DVD player but both will upscale any DVD to HD. Blu Ray is amazing on a good HD set.

Also, I think any charge for an online membership is complete BS. It's not expensive but for fucks sake Microsoft.....

I owned one too it don't even really count as a HD player it's just a really hi grade DVD player they don't make HD players seince blue Ray won the little batte

I have both, and i gotta say the xbox is probably a more well rounded choice. I like the ps3, but there just arnt enough games and i dont like its interface.

But different people have different perferances some like single player some like multiplayer and some like online play so that doesn't regard everyone see I think xbox is good but playstation has more to offer but that's just me and for everyone that complains about xbox live charging it's better that way trust me u get what u pay for the online servers r way better paying it worth it trust me I have gamed on both I have owned both for a long time I LOVED xbox but like I said in my other post their costumer service is what lost me
