Notification issues?

Is anyone else having any notification issues? This isn't a feedback thread or anything like that. I'd put it in the technical issues forum if we had one 😜
I'm just curious if anyone else is experiencing anything weird with notifications. Example- I get attack notifications about someone attacking my turf. Then when I go to the turf it's already owned by the other person. Yet it says they've owned it for an hour and I barely got the notifications right then. Also experiencing a delay with notifications. When they appear they immediately jump by groups of 10. However I think that could just be due to my phone being slow.

And before someone suggests it yes I've done a push notification test and it worked fine.

Nope. Have experienced it with different parties capping me. It doesn't happen all the time. But with enough frequency to be annoying.

I've noticed that groups of multiple notifications w/ Groucho a lot. Like 3-4 all saying 1 nanosecond ago. Repeatedly. And yeah push check done, using 40mbps up and download w/ iPad mini and iPhone 5 and all that jazz. Used to see it w/ BRV too, when she (😕😕) used to attack.

Grimm you may of done it already but close all other programs that may be running like maps , Facebook etc and if your running 3G turn off wifi

I've been experiencing the same thing. Getting 50+ notifications all saying a nanosecond ago.

No idea if these are related issues, but i noticed that when stuff like that happened with one particular player, it was at the same time some of their turf still showed up in their turf list but had already been destroyed. Support said it was a caching issue. I know groucho has a ton of turf, so it would be hard to check for the same thing.

But if you experience it with other players with less turf, try checking their turf list. If you need to, cap some and destroy it, then see if the list doesn't update. Once support realized it, the other problems stopped too. This was before the turf list update, too, so i don't know what impact that has, if any.

Yeah bud I've tried all that. Usually close any background apps when I launch TW anyway. And I'm on wifi most of the time. Must be something since it doesn't appear I'm the only one.

Have you tried the push notification test in the help section of TW?
